On Thursday, Nov. 7, Empowering Everyday Women Ministries held its 1st annual Feed 5,000  Thanksgiving Fundraising Drive at City Church in Buffalo to feed the hungry. Meals were distributed to the hungry in the community.

More than 150 recovering addicts, survivors of domestic abuse, and formerly incarcerated women, received ministry services, resources, and gifts from First Lady Dianna Hobbs, and the women’s department of City Church Buffalo this weekend. “The turnout was astounding,” said a ministry rep in a statement.

Dianna Hobbs, Founder of Empowering Everyday Women Ministries and first lady of City Church Buffalo, recently launched her Literacy Links Program. It is a community initiative to fight illiteracy.
