Often, we feel inadequate. We don't believe we're good enough, smart enough, beautiful enough, gifted enough, or bold enough to possess what God already promised. But that's where we are sorely mistaken. We are anointed to fill the shoes we’re in. More specifically, you are anointed to walk in your calling.

Perhaps you have been down on yourself and feeling less-than lately. If so, it’s time for a motivating pep talk, and here goes.

#1 You are one of a kind.

No one else is equipped to fulfill the roles and duties God has assigned to you. The next time you feel discouraged and unequipped, tell yourself, I'm anointed for this. You are the one God has chosen. The best part is that He has selected you just as you are. God has handpicked you specifically because of your unique characteristics. Don't get preoccupied. Don't spend unnecessary time worrying and wondering if you fit the bill or not, because you do. The Lord has perfectly crafted and designed you to walk out a very specific path. It doesn't matter who comes or goes, no one can bring to the table what you can.

#2 God makes no mistakes.

God didn’t make you the way you are by accident. He created and designed you with purpose. Remember this: don't allow yourself to be deterred from seizing what God has for you because you have a faulty perception of yourself. Your Heavenly Father didn't make a mistake when He singled you out.  He strategically positioned you right where you are, so His will can be accomplished in the earth.

#3 You are fearfully and wonderfully made.

Woman of God, I want you to lift up your head today and celebrate. Know that wonderful days are ahead of you. Even though the enemy would like for you to believe you don't have what it takes, here is the rebuttal God wants you to scream back, and it goes a little something like this: “I am fearfully and wonderfully made: your works are wonderful, I know that full well” (Psalm 139:14 NIV)!

#4 Reject that warped mentality.

Who told you that you weren't good enough? Whoever it was, even if it was you, was wrong. Right now, we're taking authority over that warped mentality. God is setting your mind free. He's releasing the shackles of bondage that keep you confined and locked up in the prison of small thinking. Best of all, the Lord is going to confirm His anointing on your life with signs following, so you will never doubt that you are indeed His chosen and elect. Put a smile on your face, and view yourself through different eyes from this day forward.

#5 See yourself through God’s eyes.

Stop thinking so low of yourself. Begin seeing your contribution to this world through the eyes of God, and I guarantee your outlook will change. Take this scripture with you today: "And the Lord will make you the head and not the tail; you shall be above only, and not be beneath..." (Deuteronomy 28:13a NKJV).

And that concludes this pep talk. Now go forth and be great with your chosen and anointed self.
