Ciara writes the sweetest message to her ‘warrior’ husband Russell Wilson after crushing playoff defeat

A godly wife supports her husband at all times—in both victory and defeat. And Christian R&B singer Ciara is doing just that.
NFL quarterback Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks didn’t bring home a win for the team in their final playoff game of the season, but despite that failure, the all-pro athlete is still getting high praise from his virtuous wife.
Calling him a “warrior” on Instagram, in a syrupy sweet caption, the 34-year-old performer said, “As always so, so proud of you. You put it all on the line every time. That’s in all that you do!”
Tell ‘em, sis!
It’s been six years since Wilson raised the Super Bowl trophy. While he’s become one of the top quarterbacks in the league, the gap without a championship game appearance is becoming more noticeable and tougher for the highest-paid player in the NFL to accept.
Some may say because of having a youthful roster as part of an overhaul that started two years ago, and a long debilitating list of injuries, that the Seahawks overachieved by winning 12 games. They were inches from winning a division title and maybe a dropped pass away from rallying to beat Green Bay in the divisional round of the NFC playoffs before falling 28-23 to the Packers.
But at age 31 and having completed his eighth season, Wilson doesn’t see it that way.
“I think we underachieved in my opinion because I think the goal should be always winning the Super Bowl. That’s got to be our standard. That’s got to be our focus,” Wilson said on Monday.
While sports analysts and Wilson may be focused on imperfect stats and scores, Ciara gives him a perfect score, writing, “10 for 10 with loving me and our babies with your all!”
Regardless of the on-field disappointment, off the field, Wilson is winning in love and life. In the comment section of his wife’s Instagram page, the successful baller wrote, “You have changed my life for the better. I am forever grateful for you and our amazing loving and sweet kids too.”
The Christ-honoring couple has been married three years and appears to still be in their honeymoon phase. “What a joy to spend life with you,” said Wilson.
Though another Super Bowl ring might have to wait, the most important ring is already on the finger of Wilson’s doting bride.
Don’t you just love these two?
