Gospel music fans, mark your calendars! Five-time Grammy Award-winning artist Karen Clark Sheard is set to release her much-anticipated album, Still Karen, this August.
This new release is poised to bring a fresh twist to the sounds that defined her career, drawing inspiration from her iconic albums Finally Karen and Second Chance.
The album promises a rich variety of worship songs, urban contemporary tracks, powerful ballads, and the unmatched vocal prowess that Clark Sheard is known for. Currently, the buzz around her has reached fever pitch owing to her electrifying performances during the ongoing “The Reunion Tour.”
Clark Sheard has consistently left fans craving more, with viral clips showcasing her incredible talent. Still Karen captures this very energy, offering fans a nostalgic yet innovative musical experience.
The album features collaborations with renowned producers and artists who have played significant roles in Sheard's career. Notable contributors include Mano Hanes, J Moss, J Drew Sheard II, and A&R consulting from Donald Lawrence. Adding to the excitement, new sounds are brought by Anthony Brown, Anita Wilson, Charles Jenkins, Kierra Sheard, and one of the album's Executive Producers, 13-time Grammy Award-winner Pharrell Williams.
