Former Atlanta mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms 'thrilled' to join CNN as political commentator

“I am thrilled to officially announce that I have joined CNN as a Political Commentor,” said Bottoms who also shared that she when she was a student at Florida A&M University, she applied for the “coveted VJ (Video Journalist) program at CNN and didn’t get in.”
