Sing Baby! Erica Campbell’s teen daughter is using her beautiful voice for the Lord (VIDEO)

The Bible says in Proverbs 22:6, that we should train our children in the ways of the Lord, so when they are older they won’t depart.
GRAMMY® Award-winning gospel singer Erica Campbell has taken this Scripture to heart and is training her teen daughter Krista Campbell to use her beautiful singing voice in service of the Lord.
In an Instagram video featuring the teen star of TV One’s reality show “We’re the Campbells,” Krista can be heard belting a rendition of “Flaws,” a gorgeous ballad by gospel singer Kierra Sheard—someone her mom says she “loves.”
“Beautiful voice!” Kierra responded in an affirming post after watching the video featuring the young songstress’s melodious tones. The footage was captured at California Worship Center, a North Hollywood ministry led by Erica and Warryn Campbell, Krista’s parents.
“I’m a fan already!” said Kierra, thanking Erica and Warryn for letting her listen to the music. “I hope to be some form of inspiration to her as you both have been to me!”
The Christian couple is proudly raising their three children Krista, Warryn III, and Zaya, in the fear and admonition of God—something that isn’t always easy in this crazy world.
So then, how do they do it?
According Warryn, husband of the host of syndicated radio program Get Up! Mornings with Erica Campbell, it takes strong discipline.
“Don’t try to be friends with your kids. Be the adult,” said the producer, pastor, and My Block Records CEO, in a 2018 interview with The Grio. “I don’t mind if my kids don’t like me right now because they will respect me, and they will thank me later when it counts.”
He added, “When they grow up and they see that everything I have done or had them do when it comes to hard work or discipline, or these things they don’t want to do, they will look back and say thank you, dad. If you didn’t make me do that, I wouldn’t have done this.”
Well, the good news is that young Krista seems to love singing, and even at a young age she is focused on lifting up the name of Jesus.
