Break out the pink! Christian couple Fantasia Barrino and Kendall Taylor are expecting a girl
Mr. and Mrs. Taylor will soon welcome a baby girl!

Psalm 127:3 says, “Children are a heritage from the LORD, offspring a reward from him.” Well, it looks like Fantasia Barrino and hubby Kendall Taylor are being rewarded with a baby girl!
The Christian couple that wed in July 2015 shared the big announcement on social media Tuesday, Jan. 5 after being open and honest about Barrino’s past fertility struggles.Now, the struggle is behind them, and the expectation of welcoming a beautiful bundle of joy is ahead of them.
The Grammy-winning singer first announced in late November that she was expecting and said, she had sought Scripture to encourage her faith through her difficult journey. According to the 36-year-old, she began to "pray like Rachel" in the Bible for God to open her womb after doctors gave her not-so-good news about the likelihood of pregnancy.

Initially, a doctor told the “Lose to Win” songstress that one of her fallopian tubes had closed, she said. "At first, we thought we were going to have to do different things," explained Barrino in an interview with The Tamron Hall Show, where she shared that some had advised the couple to look into in vitro fertilization since she and Taylor, 40, were unsuccessfully trying to get pregnant.
Instead of heeding that advice, however, Barrino and her husband chose to take a break from trying, and "let God be God,” she said.
"I kid you not, I forgot about it," Barrino told host Tamron Hall. "And then I woke up one night, and I was just like, 'Something's different.'"
Barrino said she took a total of six pregnancy tests. When the results came back positive, she excitedly threw one of them at Taylor who said he had a feeling that conceiving would “happen naturally" for them.
When their daughter arrives, she will be the first child shared by the couple. Barrino has two children from previous relationships — Dallas Xavier, 9, and Zion Quari, 19 — and Taylor has a son named Treyshaun.
Barrino married Taylor three weeks after meeting him—a decision she is still glad she made. In an interview with PEOPLE, Barrino gushed about Taylor, saying, when she met him, she observed that, "He was a praying man. He was a smart man. He was a man with a story. He was a man with a past. He was going somewhere. I saw the king in him, and he saw the queen in me.”
Now the king and queen will welcome their royal baby girl soon.
