Instead of showers of blessings, a well-known North Carolina pastor sprinkled showers of urine on a sleeping passenger aboard a Delta flight from Las Vegas to Detroit. Yikes!
While on a red-eye flight returning from a girls’ trip, Alicia Beverly says she woke up to a “warm” feeling and noticed the exposed genitalia of the unnamed minister, as he actively urinated on her – something that has left her traumatized.

In an interview with Fox 2 Detroit, Beverly, who broke down in tears speaking about her anxiety issues tied to the incident and sleepless nights since it happened, recounted the bizarre events.
“I jump up, and I see his private area out, and I screamed, and that woke everybody up," Beverly told the news outlet. "By that time, I actually looked at him, and I see him shake himself off, and I’m like, this man just peed on me! I looked, and there was a puddle of pee in the seats.”
An off-duty police officer who happened to be traveling on the same flight restrained the pastor who said he was suffering from a reaction to the sleep aid Ambien that he had taken. Beverly, who said she was forced to sit in urine-soaked clothes for several more hours before the flight ended, is grateful that the off-duty cop was there to witness the incident and assist her.

Authorities took the reverend into custody upon arrival in Detroit, and at the time of writing, it is not known whether the pastor has been formally charged. The FBI reportedly handles such issues, as the incident occurred in the air.
A shaken up Beverly told the Detroit station, “I left work yesterday because I couldn’t stay, but I had to tell them why I needed to leave. It was a lot. My anxiety was really high, literally. Since then, I have only gotten four hours of sleep.”
Among the listed serious side effects of Ambien is “disorientation to place or time.” The chemical structure of the drug impacts thee central nervous system and receptor cells in the brain that influence sleep and other neurological activities.
Some users have reported negative cognitive or psychological side effects.
