Global Outreach Day: Millions are committing to witnessing to at least one person on May 26, 2018

Jesus said in Acts 1:8, “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses,” which means you have been empowered by the Holy Spirit to be an effective witness for Christ.

Millions of people and ministries are committing to doing just that on Global Outreach Day, Saturday, May 26, 2018. The mission of Global Outreach Day is simple: to share the Gospel with at least one person on that day.

You have been given the courage, anointing and tools to share Jesus’ message with those who have never heard it or are not yet born again Christians. When you participate in Global Outreach Day, you’ll be doing your part to lead those people to salvation in Jesus.

How can you participate? Well, you can either do it personally or together with a group or church. You are only asked to reach at least one person.

Here are four simple ways:

  • Initiate contact with someone and start a conversation about faith.

  • Share your testimony and the Gospel message in person or online.

  • Offer someone prayer.

  • Answer questions preventing someone from making a decision for Christ.

  • Host a small Bible study and invite an unsaved friend.

These are only a few ways! When you ask God for wisdom and guidance, He will help you find just the right way to witness. You have been anointed for this, so do it boldly and confidently, knowing God is with you. He is ordering your steps and wording your mouth.

Pray this prayer: God, it is my desire to be an effective witness about Jesus. Please give me the courage and guidance to use the tools I have to win the lost for You. I ask for an increase in wisdom and understanding as I reach out to others who don't yet know You. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.
