Stellar Awards 2024: Celebrating Gospel's Finest, Tye Tribbett and Kim Burrell

Four months after his Grammy win for Best Gospel Album with All Things New: Live in Orlando, Tye Tribbett leads the pack at the 2024 Stellar Awards with an impressive eight nominations.

In addition to his nominations, Tribbett will be honored with the prestigious James Cleveland Lifetime Achievement Icon Award.

The 39th Annual Stellar Gospel Music Awards, set to tape on Saturday, July 20, at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, promises an unforgettable night. Esteemed gospel artist Kim Burrell is also set to be recognized, receiving the Aretha Franklin Icon Award for her outstanding contributions to gospel music.

Hosting duties for the evening will be shared by TV personality and comedian Loni Love and radio/TV personality and comedian Rickey Smiley, ensuring a night filled with laughter and celebration. The two-hour show is scheduled to premiere on the Stellar Network on Saturday, August 3, at 8 p.m. ET, with a repeat broadcast at 10 p.m. ET.

Viewers can also catch the show in broadcast syndication from August 10 through September 8.

This year's show is under the executive production of Don Jackson, with Jennifer J. Jackson serving as producer and executive in charge of production. Michael A. Johnson takes on the role of producer and director, Erin Johnson is the talent producer, and Daniel Moore is the music director.
