Happy New Year: You Made It

A Letter from Dianna Hobbs, Founder

Let’s be honest. 2021 had some rough moments and deep disappointments. Many of us were so optimistic exiting 2020. We had pandemic fatigue and were believing and hoping for brighter days.

While there were some glimpses of improvement, that was short-lived, and we found ourselves right back in the grips of COVID and grappling with this new reality.

Some might let the grim nature of circumstances dim their hope and put out the light in their eyes, but don’t you do that. You made it to 2022, and God allowed you to be alive and breathing because you have more work to do. There is a greater destiny and purpose on your life. So, it’s time to shake off the burdens of the past, and look ahead toward a bright future.

I lost some loved ones and shed many tears in 2021, but I refuse to be pessimistic and let myself forget the promises of God. The year has changed, but God has not. He yet remains a miracle-worker who has all power in His hands.

I expect great things!

Now, does that mean there won’t be trials in the New Year? Absolutely not. There will be challenges, disappointments, pain, and struggles. But, the same God who brought us through 2021 will do the same in 2022.

Are you anticipating extraordinary things? If not, get your faith up. Believe that God will do the impossible for you.

He will show Himself faithful. He will bless you. He will favor you. He will strengthen you and give you victory in the time of adversity.

Keep your hope and faith alive, and never stop believing for great things. God’s word shall come to pass!
