Get your hot chocolate, snugly pajamas and favorite holiday treats ready to enjoy a film featuring Christian actress Tamera Mowry-Housley, Hallmark Channel’s new star.

The 41-year-old confirmed that she is producing and starring in A Christmas Miracle—her first ever Christmas movie for the family-friendly network.

“I’m so grateful to have the opportunity to star and produce my first Hallmark Channel Christmas film,” gushed the wholesome Emmy Award-winning entertainer whose debut is Thursday, November 14, 2019 at 9 pm, with co-stars Brooks Darnell and Barry Bostwick.

“I have always loved the positive message Hallmark movies portray,” she added. “What a dream to be a part of this film from the beginning.”

Many Christians, like Mowry-Housley, appreciate Hallmark Channel’s clean entertainment, sweet story lines and virtuous characters.  Arguably now, more than ever, when civility is at an all-time low and we are bombarded with divisive messages, Americans need television films and programs that unite us and make everyone feel good.

While many network prime-time shows go on hiatus during the holiday season, Hallmark Channel shines brightest—thanks, in part, to the beloved actors that light up the screen.

“A Christmas Miracle is filled with so much heart, warmth, strength and love,” said the co-host of the daytime talker “The Real.”

Additionally, Holly Robinson Peete will star in Hallmark Channel’s Christmas In Evergreen: Tidings of Joy on Saturday, Dec. 14 at 8 pm, and Patti Labelle will be featured in A Family Christmas Gift airing Friday, Dec. 20 at 9 pm.

This year marks a special milestone for the network, its 10-year anniversary of Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. In celebration of that accomplishment, viewers will be gifted with 40 brand new Christmas movies beginning October 25.

To that, Hallmark Channel lovers say, the more movies, the merrier the season.
