For Hunger Action Month® this September, Empowering Everyday Women is joining other nonprofits in the fight against food insecurity and raising awareness of people facing hunger.

Michael McLaughlin, a teacher at an inner-city school in Buffalo, NY, grabbed the attention of Erica Campbell with his fundraising campaign to teach low-income students advanced technology. As Campbell supports him, she stresses the importance of visionaries finding innovative ways to get support for their own initiatives.
