One week ago, Dr. Tony Evans asked the faith community to pray that God would either heal his wife Lois Evans of cancer or take her home to heaven. God answered, and she breathed her last breath today. She was 70 years old. She passed “just before the sun came up,” Monday, Dec. 30.

On Dec. 1, First Lady Lois Evans celebrated her 70th birthday surrounded by loved ones. Despite her ongoing battle with cancer, she is a fierce and fabulous warrior, living her best life and defying doctors’ expectations. Would we expect anything less of this faith-filled queen?
