Controversy has engulfed Kenya Moore, the renowned star of The Real Housewives of Atlanta (RHOA) and former Miss USA, as she faces allegations of sharing explicit images of her co-star during a promotional event.
EEW Magazine Online has learned that Moore, 53, has been suspended from Season 16 amid an investigation into the incident, which disrupted an event promoting one of her business ventures. Online videos show the inappropriate images of co-star Brittany Eady being displayed.
Moore has denied allegations of any wrongdoing, stating that she shared only publicly available images.
"My conscience is clean," Moore stated on Instagram, captioning serene photos and videos of her daughter Brooklyn enjoying a peaceful day on the picturesque shores of Tortuga Bay.
"My life is blessed," she added. "Thank you, God, for covering us."
She has also advised her followers, "Believe none of what you hear and half of what you see. The truth always comes to light."
TMZ reported that Moore was not terminated by Bravo, and the network has left the door open for her possible return. However, EEW Magazine has not independently confirmed any discussions regarding Moore's future on the show. In light of the controversy, Moore is reportedly considering her legal options.
Having joined RHOA in Season 5, Moore held her position for six seasons before taking a break in Season 11 “after a messy, lengthy contract negotiation that left her and the network on opposite sides of uncrossable battle lines,” according to a report by PEOPLE.
She returned as a full-time cast member in Season 12 and remained until the current controversy.
Season 16 of RHOA is undergoing a reboot, with Moore and Drew Sidora initially slated to return from Season 15. The new season also features the return of Porsha Williams and guest appearances by former star Cynthia Bailey, alongside new cast members Angela Oakley, Eady, and Kelli Ferrell.
Kandi Burruss, a former RHOA star, defended Moore during an interview on Streetz Morning Takeover. "I don't like the fact that they suspended Kenya," Burruss said, questioning the suspension. "This is Housewives," she argued, referencing the franchise's reputation for dramatic and controversial behavior.
Despite ongoing media coverage, Moore insists many reports are inaccurate. "So many false claims hiding behind anonymous sources," she stated. "All this conversation and no facts being reported. If a claim or source was valid, would they need to hide?"
Moore also emphasized her commitment to creating a "non-toxic environment" for herself and her daughter, Brooklyn, whom she co-parents with her ex-husband, Marc Daly. In addition to thanking God for His protection and blessings over her family, Moore reiterated her denial of the revenge porn rumors, stating, "I have proof and will share soon.”
Moore's reliance on her faith during this challenging time is not new. She has previously shared her religious upbringing. "I grew up as a Jehovah's Witness," she said during the Season 8 finale of RHOA, though she noted she was never baptized despite participating in religious activities.
As the investigation continues, Moore remains committed to her peace, her faith, her family, and her innocence of the allegations.
