As the stars dazzled and the stage lit up with performances that captivated the heart, EEW Magazine was on the scene at the 66th annual Grammy Awards, where the intersection of faith and music shined brighter than ever.

While the Grammy Awards celebrated a broad spectrum of musical achievements, EEW Magazine Online is placing the spotlight on the artists who uplift with every note they sing—particularly those from the Christian and Gospel genres.

Kirk Franklin, 54, graced the stage not just with his electrifying performance but also with a win that further cemented his legacy. Franklin's All Things earned him the Grammy for Best Gospel Performance/Song, marking an astounding 20th Grammy win after 31 nominations. His soul-stirring melodies and heartfelt lyrics clearly continue to resonate with fans around the world.

In the realm of Best Gospel Album, Tye Tribbett, 48, brought home the gold with All Things New: Live In Orlando, a powerful collection of live recordings that capture the essence of worship and community. Meanwhile, the legendary Blind Boys of Alabama were honored with the Best Roots Gospel Album for their work Echoes of the South, a cohesive work of art that beautifully blends traditional Gospel sounds with a rich Southern heritage.

But it was Houston's own Lecrae, 44, a titan in the world of Christian rap and acting, who shined brightest as he collected not one, but two Grammy awards during the pre-telecast ceremony. He won Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song for "Your Power" featuring Tasha Cobbs Leonard and triumphed with his Church Clothes 4 in the Best Contemporary Christian Music Album category.

"Every single soul that touched this project, everybody who listened to it, enjoyed it, understand the gift that we all possess, I have to give credit to the Lord Jesus for just being my all in all in everything, to allow me to speak the words that I have in art,” Lecrae said in his heartfelt acceptance speech, as he stood alongside his radiant daughter, expressing gratitude and humility.

Lecrae's Church Clothes 4, the final installment in a mixtape series that began in 2012, showcases the artist's depth and versatility. His recent roles, including a feature in the movie musical Journey to Bethlehem with Antonio Banderas, further highlight his multifaceted talents.

EEW Magazine Online takes pride in covering these moments of faith-filled triumph and congratulates all nominees and winners for their contributions to music that uplifts and inspires.

We remain dedicated to bringing our readers into the heart of the Christian and Gospel music scene, celebrating the sounds that give voice to our shared beliefs and unite us in praise.
