Our very own Dianna Hobbs, award-winning ministry leader and OceanFive indie gospel recording artist, is stepping up in a big way to support communities devastated by Hurricanes Helene and Milton.

Dianna is generously contributing proceeds from her latest single, "Don't Know Why," as well as emergency funds from Empowering Everyday Women, to bring hope and healing to those affected by these disasters.

For the next 30 days, during a critical relief period, Hobbs is donating 100% of the proceeds from the downloads of her new single, "Don’t Know Why," to provide essential resources, including clean water and meals, to affected communities. Supporters can contribute by downloading the single or making direct donations.

As the CEO of EEW, Dianna shared her heartfelt thanks to our amazing supporters who have already donated to the relief efforts. "We’re incredibly grateful to our donors for their generous contributions to the Hurricanes Helene and Milton relief efforts," Dianna said. "These funds will provide essential food, clean water, and supplies, helping communities rebuild and recover. Together, we can share the love of Christ and make a tangible impact. Thank you to every single donor—large and small—for standing with us in the movement to end hunger and support communities in need."

This is far from Dianna’s first time leading the charge to help those in crisis. Over the years, EEW has contributed thousands towards disaster relief efforts across the globe, with a special focus on our brothers and sisters in Africa. From supporting food banks during the COVID-19 pandemic to shipping vital supplies to areas ravaged by famine and natural disasters, we’ve consistently stepped in to meet critical needs in places like Haiti, Sudan, and underserved areas here at home.

The need is urgent. Hurricane Milton tore across Florida, leaving a trail of destruction. The storm spawned at least 19 tornadoes, caused widespread flooding, and destroyed over 125 homes, most of them mobile homes. This comes just two weeks after Hurricane Helene brought deadly flooding to western Florida, claiming at least 230 lives across the South. With winds over 130 mph, Helene caused more than 200 deaths, widespread destruction, and left thousands without homes or access to basic necessities.

Among those affected was Evelyn Holmes, a single mother of three who lost her home in Hurricane Helene. "We didn’t have time to save anything. The tornado ripped through our neighborhood in minutes," Evelyn shared. "But thanks to people like you, we’re getting the help we need. I’ve received food and supplies, and my children are safe. We are shaken up and will have to rebuild our lives, but I’m so grateful to have much-needed support at a time like this."

Stories like Evelyn’s remind us how urgent this work is.

EEW Family, Dianna and our entire emergency response team needs your help now more than ever. Here’s how you can make a difference:
