She’s back!
Emmy-winning Christian entertainer, Tamera Mowry-Housley’s upbeat and warm personality made her a favorite on her former talk show, The Real.
Since leaving in 2020, before the Emmy-winning daytime talker’s recent cancellation, the “Sister, Sister” star, 44, has been sorely missed by fans. But now, she has a brand-new gig as host of Amazon’s “Dr. Seuss Baking Challenge.”
According to a Variety report, contestants on the fun, family-friendly show will be tasked with making confectionary creations tied to Seuss characters like The Cat in the Hat, The Grinch and more.
Their creations will then be judged based on taste, creativity, and storytelling.
Mowry-Housley, actress and producer, who originally stepped away from the daily grind of television to spend more time with her family and pursue other opportunities, appears to be a good fit for the show.
She has past experiences hosting the Hulu baking competition “Baker’s Dozen” as well as “Table Wars,” where she judged design alongside Martha Stewart and Chris Hessney.
Pastry chefs Clarice Lam and Joshua John Russell—also a cake designer—have signed onto the series as judges.
With Mowry-Housley onboard, the sweet-sounding show is made that much sweeter.
