Positive News: Erica Campbell celebrates ‘first #1 song on Gospel radio’

In a world full of negative reports, something positive is happening on gospel radio.
Grammy-winning gospel recording artist, Erica Campbell’s single “Positive” has hit #1 on Billboard Gospel Airplay and the Mediabase Gospel Charts!
“This is my first #1 song in Gospel Radio,” said Campbell, 50. “My heart is overflowing with gratitude and joy!”
“Positive” is the lead single from her upcoming third studio album, slated for release on September 23. The song is co-written by Erica Campbell, Juan Winans, and Warryn Campbell who also produced it for My Block Inc.
“Words have power. Positive is a good word, even though it’s now connected to something else due to COVID,” Campbell said. “I just wanted to take that word back and give it the power it deserves. Being positive, thinking positive, knowing that God is sovereign and in control. Knowing the difference between what He is doing and what I am trying to do.”
Expressing her gratefulness, Campbell said to her online followers, “Thank you all for streaming and listening,” and to “Gospel radio for playing my song on the radio! I could not have done this without you!”
