Kerrion Franklin, son of Grammy-winning gospel titan, Kirk Franklin, left the Internet in shambles last year when he leaked expletive-heavy audio of his father verbally lambasting him.

Now another clip is surfacing—this time of Kerrion himself—admitting something deeply personal that has others talking: “I’m bisexual.”

Kerrion, who co-stars on the Zeus network’s Bad Boys: Los Angeles, came out to his co-stars, Milan Christopher and Moolah Moe, after the pair repeatedly bullied and pressured him to reveal his sexuality.

“Let me ask you this: Do you like men or do you like women?” asked Moolah, as the three were in the kitchen talking. “I just want to know, bro.”

Initially, Kerrion was hesitant to answer. Instead, he deflected, saying, “Men hit on me all time. Different kinds,” and adding, “I can’t control who’s attracted to me. All I can do is just, like, do my thing, bro.”

Visibly uncomfortable, Kerrion then owned up to being “polyamorous,” preferring non-monogamy—something he said would likely spark controversy, pushing people to “argue” with him after the show.

But the first confession wasn’t good enough for his castmates. Milan jumped in and prodded Kerrion to be more transparent during the awkward exchange.

“Okay, I’m bisexual. Call me that,” finally conceded Kerrion, Kirk Franklin’s son from a previous relationship.

“Whoa! I wasn’t expecting that,” said Moolah during a confessional segment of the show. “His upbringing. His father’s Kirk Franklin. This is really a shocker to me.”

On social media, Kerrion shared his coming out clip and wrote in the caption that he was showing his co-stars “what it really means to keep it real” and hopes the conversation allows them all to “move on” with “less questions, more understanding.”

Kerrion received a mix of backlash and understanding in March 2021 after publicizing a private, tense phone conversation with his world-renowned father. Some accused Kerrion of chasing fame, while others acknowledged that he is hurting and looking to receive help.

Whatever the case, during a previous episode of Bad Boys, Kirk Franklin’s eldest son broke down crying when he was asked about his relationship with his famous dad.

“I don’t think people realize that I really be alone,” he said. “I don’t get no family time, so it’s like, it’s a different kind of battle for me. I definitely know about dark waters when it comes to dealing with parents.”

Kerrion’s co-stars have caught some flak from viewers online that believe coming out about one’s sexuality is a personal decision, and no one should be forced to do so.
