Antonio Brown, who recently signed a one-year contract with the New England Patriots, the NFL’s most successful franchise, is at the center of a sexual misconduct scandal.

A civil lawsuit has been filed against him by his former trainer Britney Taylor, who alleged that Brown sexually assaulted her on three separate occasions— and “forcibly raped” her during the third and final encounter. But she is not the only one making claims against the wide receiver.

Sports Illustrated has released a bombshell report that details new allegations from a second woman, who asked to remain anonymous, claiming sexual misconduct at the hands of Brown. According to SI, no one from Brown’s team responded to the publication’s list of questions regarding these most recent allegations.

The report said, in June 2017, Brown became interested in an artist in her 20s who had painted a portrait of him. He offered $700 to buy the painting at his own charity auction and promised to pay later—something he was well able to do considering he had earned more than $69 million from his NFL career and national endorsement deals with Pepsi, Nike, Microsoft and EA Sports.

Brown invited the painter to come to his home in a suburb of Pittsburgh to paint a mural on a wall inside his residence for a fee of $1,000 per day. She agreed and traveled from New York City, with some of his friends and associates, to Western Pennsylvania, said the SI report.

After arriving, Brown allegedly flirted with her, but the artist dismissed his advances as an “uncomfortable yet constant reality of her professional life.” Brown, who seemed seriously impressed with her artistry, is said to have enthusiastically shared it on social media—including a live-streamed video showing off her progress.

“It was very exciting to have this person interested in my work,” the woman told SI. “He acted like he trusted me and he let me do my thing.”

On her second day, however, things took a perverse turn. While she was in a kneeling position painting, she said “she turned to find Brown behind her, naked, holding a small hand towel over his genitals.”

She said men had aggressively pursued her in the past, which is why, though she did not like what was happening, she kept her cool and continued painting.

After that encounter, she said, her relationship with Brown “ended abruptly.”

The next day, he said he was leaving for Miami. She thought she would complete the mural upon his return, but he “ghosted” her, she said. His assistants also did not answer her text messages anymore. Brown paid her $2,000 for her two days of work. However, he never released the $700 payment for her original auction painting, she said.

SI said, “The woman is not pursuing charges or remuneration, though she was bothered by his behavior. She said that friends with whom she had shared details of this incident alerted her to the federal lawsuit Taylor filed against Brown last week.”

Taylor, who is suing Brown, is a former gymnast turned trainer. She met Brown when they were both athletes at Central Michigan University.

Taylor’s lawsuit, filed in the Southern District of Florida on Sept. 10, said Brown exposed himself and kissed her without her consent at his Pittsburgh home in 2017. Later that same month, while at his house in Miami, Taylor was watching a church service on her iPad when Brown “began masturbating near her without her knowledge and ejaculated on her back.”

The suit goes on to say he later boasted about the lewd incident in emails sent to her. Taylor broke off their relationship and ended contact at first, but reengaged several months later when Brown reached out to apologize and assure her that he would “cease any sexual advances.”

On May 20, 2018, the two were out one evening with a group, but after she returned to his home at the end of the night, he “forced her down onto a bed, pushed her face into the mattress, and forcibly raped her,” said the lawsuit.

In a statement, Brown’s attorney, Darren Heitner, says the football player “denies each and every allegation in the lawsuit.”
