Harvard rightfully rescinds Kyle Kashuv’s admission to Harvard over past ‘egregious’ racist comments

A white teen that called African-American athletes “jock n*ggers” and wrote “kill all the f*cking Jews” has unsuccessfully attempted to defend himself after Harvard chose to rescind his admission over gross displays of bigotry.
18-year-old Kyle Kashuv, who made the racist remarks when he was 16 years old, is arguing that who he was back then is not the same person he identifies himself as today.
Kashuv, a survivor of the 2018 Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School massacre in Parkland, Fla., claims he has made a complete about-face, while condemning his own language as “egregious,” and “callous’.
According to Washington Times and Huffington Post, classmates said the well-known gun rights activist repeatedly used the N-word.

Kashuv says both he and his friends “were 16-year-olds making idiotic comments” and that he was “embarrassed by it.” He also added, “the comments I made are not indicative of who I am or who I’ve become in the years since."
Kashuv, who has large numbers of supporters and detractors, said, “When your classmates, your teachers, and your neighbors are killed it transforms you as a human being,” adding, “I can and will do better moving forward.”
By invoking the Parkland shootings in defense of his actions, the survivor garnered lots of sympathy among many. Nevertheless, plenty still say, apologizing does not cancel consequences.
