Woman cured of two autoimmune diseases during National Autoimmune Diseases Awareness Month
Best-selling author and award-winning women's ministry leader, Dianna Hobbs, was miraculously cured of two autoimmune diseases—Rheumatoid Arthritis and Fibromyalgia—last March, during National Autoimmune Diseases Awareness Month.
Now, she has officially released her book about it, titled, God Did It: A True Story of Miraculous Healing, to raise public awareness of those suffering with autoimmune diseases, and to give hope to individuals and families still in the fight. It is available for purchase today on Amazon at the following link: http://amzn.to/2HRZO00.
An autoimmune disease is a condition in which a person's immune system mistakes healthy cells and other parts of the body like joints, skin and organs, for foreign invaders like germs, bacteria and viruses, and attacks them. The disease can damage the whole body and even result in death. There is no known cure.
"When I was diagnosed, I wasn't given any hope of recovery," says Hobbs, who nearly died. Her aggressive conditions left her barely able to walk, talk, eat, or function. Near the end, before being healed, the wife, mom, and popular blogger, was in and out of the hospital, bedridden, and told there was nothing more doctors could do.
"I felt hopeless some days," continues the writer of "Your Daily Cup of Inspiration" and founder of the nonprofit organization, Empowering Everyday Women. "It was a really dark and painful period in my life, but my faith in God's power, and the prayers of the saints all over the world got me through. Now I want to encourage the hearts of others who are suffering, and let them know there is hope beyond their diagnosis."
God Did It, with the foreword written by the author's husband of twenty years, Kenya Hobbs, shares raw and unfiltered details of the writer's harrowing journey, plus answers to questions like: why must I suffer? Why hasn't God delivered me yet? And how can I believe, and see miracles in my own life?
According to the American Autoimmune Related Diseases Association (AARDA), 50 million Americans, 20 percent of the population, or one in five people, suffer from autoimmune diseases. There are over 100 autoimmune diseases, which include Lupus, Multiple Sclerosis, Type 1 Diabetes and Vitiligo.
