Are you believing God for change? 5 powerful scriptures to read while you wait in faith

If you are believing God for change, while you wait, don’t allow positive thoughts and beliefs to be erased by negativity, worry, doubt and fear.

In order to stay in the right frame of mind and believe God to transition you from where you are now to your divine place of destiny, fill your heart and mind with scriptures that affirm your faith.

Here are 5 verses to read as you patiently await a move of God:

“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” (Isaiah 43:19)

When you’re tired of circling the same mountain, facing the same obstacles and dealing with the same issues, it really wears you down. To keep your faith strong, tell yourself that God is already doing something new. He is making a way and working things out for your good.

“Moses answered the people, "Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the LORD will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again.” (Exodus 14:13)

When you’re fighting an intense battle in your health, finances, family, career and other areas of your personal life, it may look like you will inevitably be defeated. But you will beat the odds with the Lord on your side. Just as Israel overcame their enemies, the Egyptians, by God’s power, that same power is moving in your life to obliterate every enemy trying to stop your breakthrough.

“The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged." (Deuteronomy 31:8)

If you want to be steadfast in faith and unmovable, keep your eyes focused on God, who has already sent an angelic advance team to pave the way for you. All you have to do is walk along the path He has laid out. No matter how it appears or how ugly circumstances seem, the Lord is right there in the midst of your trouble. Don’t be fearful or defeated in your mind. Repeat this scripture over and over again!

"Write, therefore, what you have seen, what is now and what will take place later.” (Revelation 1:19)

In Scripture, when John was on the island of Patmos, he received revelation from the Lord. Some of what God showed him was happening at that present moment. Other things would be revealed in the future. And so it is with you. Everything God reveals doesn’t come to fruition immediately, but His word is true. He cannot lie. That shift, change, transition and elevation you are waiting on will come. It must happen, because He said it.

“For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.” (Habakkuk 2:3)

When change is a long time coming, you can start to feel hopeless, as if giving up is the best option. Your mind will tell you that you’re believing in vain and you might as well let it go. Shake yourself and remember that delay does not mean denial. You may have to wait a while, but at the end, whatever God has for you, you will receive it. As this verse says, “wait for it; it will certainly come.”

God has good things planned for you. At the appointed time, you will receive all of it. What is meant for you will not pass you by, so don’t fret about the delay.

You are going to transition out of this low place. This difficult season will come to an end. God is doing a new thing. Watch and see Him move.

Be encouraged, sis.
