God cares about your spiritual and mental health, and it is His will that you have peace and joy in your mind and emotions.

Even so, there are times when your thoughts and feelings are in turmoil, and you cannot seem to find mental and emotional rest, tranquility, and contentment. In moments of internal chaos and disruption, the word of God is a powerful tool to restore you to a place of balance and peacefulness.

That’s why EEW Magazine Online is offering you these 7 powerful Bible verses to pray over your mental health. They work!

Pray this when you feel broken: Psalm 5:1-3 - “Listen to my words, Lord, consider my lament. Hear my cry for help, my King and my God, for to you I pray.  In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly.”

Pray this when you need peace: Numbers 6:24-26 - “The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.”

Pray this when you are overwhelmed: Psalm 61:2 - “From the ends of the earth I call to you, I call as my heart grows faint; lead me to the rock that is higher than I.”

Pray this when your mind is chaotic: Philippians 4:7 - “And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

Pray this for holistic health: 3 John 1:2 - “Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.”

Pray this when you feel hopeless: Romans 15:13 - “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”

Pray this when you are stressed: Deuteronomy 4:30 - When you are in distress and all these things have happened to you, then in later days you will return to the LORD your God and obey him.

There is a prayer for every occasion in Scripture, and these verses gives you a great starting point for your mental, spiritual, and emotional health.

Whenever you pray God’s word, He hears you and answers.
