By Alex Blackmon // EEW Magazine Online // Bible Verses
It is the will of God for you to live a blessed, favored, and abundant life—not a problem-free one, because every believe must suffer. However, Jesus died so you can live joyfully, all while bringing glory to God.
But, what about when things go crazy inside your world? EEW Magazine Online is showing you through Bible verses how to guarantee blessings in every season. Yes, even the crazy ones.
As long as you believe the promises of Scripture, be obedient to God, and surrender your will in exchange for His, you will be rewarded.
#1 Kick doubt to the curb. “But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.” (Jeremiah 17:7-8)
#2 Don’t move forward without consulting God. “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.” (Proverbs 16:3)
#3 Worship with a pure heart. “Worship the Lord your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you.” (Exodus 23:25)
#4 Resist the temptation to clap back. “Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing.” (1 Peter 3:9)
#5 Don’t assume you’re a guru. Follow Godly wisdom and principles. “Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones.” (Proverbs 3:7-8”
#6 Be humble. “For the Lord takes delight in his people; he crowns the humble with victory.” (Psalm 29:11)
#7 Watch your words. Speak life only. “The tongue has the power of life and death,
and those who love it will eat its fruit.” (Proverbs 18:21)
#8 Joyfully accept persecution for your faith in Christ. “Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me.” (Matthew 5:11)
As you can see, God promises blessings even in seasons of persecution, attack, and sickness. The Lord is always seeking ways to pour out His goodness on you, and He gives you the recipe to receive right in His word. Isn’t God good?
Your job is to follow Christ at any cost, do whatever He asks of you, and believe He will fulfill His promises no matter what you see happening today!
